I called the Brazilian Consulate
I called the Brazilian Consulate on Thursday. My visa is not ready. I am not sure when I will get my visa. Please pray that my visa will be ready soon. I have continued my language study. I will be sending out my July newsletter soon.

I hope to hear from the Brazilian consulate this week or next
Hi everyone,
I hope to hear from the Brazilian consulate this week or next because it has been about 15 to 17 business days. I hope to get my visa soon! Meanwhile, I have been doing a lot of language study on my own. Please pray that God will work out everything for my departure to Brazil.

Brazilian TV
Wow, my brain is fried. I just listened to Brazilian TV for 4 hours. I am still working on Rosetta Stone. I have a long way to go. Lord, help me to absorb all of this language. I am amazed even now how you have done so much for mankind. The Holy Spirit came and the people heard the gospel in their heart language and I am just learning a second language. It is humbling! Just think, I am not even in Brazil yet. I thank you for everything you have done in my life. I can't do anything without your filling of your Spirit. Thank-you for living inside of me and giving me power that I could not have without YOU. Amen!

Language and More Language
Hi everyone! For the last month, all I have been doing is language and more language. No, I am not in Brazil but I am learning language on my Rosetta Stone software. So pray for me as I learn language here in the states as well as learning language in language school.

Fourth of July and Sunday School
Hi everyone! My fourth of July was good. Oh how I'm reminded every day of our freedoms not only in this country but our freedoms in Christ. My grandfather and my aunt came over for dinner. Then my brother and his wife brought family over from her side. It was really great to meet her niece and nephew. They were nice. I really enjoyed a truly American meal because soon I will be away from my mom's delicious cooking. On Sunday, I taught Sunday school. I taught the 3rd and 4th grade. It was a perfect lesson since I am about to go overseas. The lesson was about the early church and Pentecost. I was even able to teach my students some Portuguese. We talked about how the people were able to understand the gospel in different languages after the Holy Spirit came. Also, there is no news about my visa. Most likely, I will be leaving in August.
